Viacom is currently seeking unruly amounts of money from Directv the powerhouse of satellite tv. Soon Viacom will be asking for more money from every company, and unfortunately if Directv stops viacom so to will every othe company thus losing profits much needed for this company. Obviously Viacom has some great programs, they do not have sports though, and that is a chip i bet they wish they had.

In the end, Big Media winds up with more ways to distribute their content. And get paid for it. For Jon Stewart alone they deserve green thumb.

The market is going insane. Everyman traders will flock to steady trustworthy stocks like Viacom.

Even when the whole market is down, Viacom still goes strong

Traditional advertising revenue driven companies are hurting. Why advertise on TV at crazy prices when you can advertise on Google through websites and cut out the middlemen? The internet has won.

Just watch... Viacom's subsitiary MTV scored the entire Beatles catalog to make a Guitar Hero like game through their subsidiary Harmonix (who produces the Rock Band game).

FCF valuation looks attractive and some excellent franchises

Viacom which owns paramount pictures which owns marvel ( NYSE MVL) is launching two new movies in the upcoming months Indiana jones and Hulk and also previously released Iron man which will still turn in a large profit these are good companies too invest in their stock values will be increasing in the next upcoming months

Viacom is a very large company which is part of the NBC broadcast. They own several different cable channels such as Comedy Central MTV etc... Comedy Central is a cable channel with superb programming for people of all ages and MTV picks up the rest. I don't know anyone who does not watch something related to this company.

"ROCK BAND" (videogame) is gonna be a huge hit this Christmas -Developer is Harmonix, a subsidiary of MTV and Viacom...
