VISN looks risky for the following reasons:

1. Cut throat compeition: VISN recently lost subway Lines 1 + 2 in Beijing to Bus Online. Another competitor Towona is filing for an IPO via Morgan Stanly although I believe it will be nearly… More

VISN paid an attractive price for DMG and will create tremendous synergies among their bus and subway networks. With DMG, VISN now has the DOMINANT position in the mass transportation networks. As weaker competitors shrink operations or shut down completely (Towona and Bus Online come to mind), VISN will only pick up more market share and increase rates. Revenues should really start to ramp up in the Q3 / Q4 of this year helped by the Shanghai World Expo and the Asian Games in Guangzho. I can see this company blowing by Focus Media in a few years.
