VanceInfo Tech (VIT)

CAPS Rating:
*****

Rating a stock in CAPS consists of three components:

Your call - Will this stock outperform or underperform the S&P 500? Successful picks are measured in terms of whether or not you were correct and by how many percentage points.

Your time frame - A guideline for other players to see whether your thinking is short or long-term. Time frame is also used to calculate the stock rating, but is not used in the scoring of your pick.

Your pitch - Here's your chance to offer more detailed thoughts, analysis, concerns, or the rationale behind your call. The pitch is optional and may be added later.

Each time you rate a stock, CAPS updates the community intelligence for the company, which may or may not change its CAPS rating. For more information, visit the Help tab at the top of the page.

As an (IT) service provider and software development firm located in China they may experience the same type of growth their Indian counterparts (INFY, SAY & CTSH to name a few) have experience in the past, going forward if they can compete on the same quality & price level.

After all, alot of the ...More

New IT Company, appears to have very large growth forcast. More and more companies are outsourcing and they want the cheapest product for cost, like any company would. VIT will be a very good competitor to India. I'm buying in now because it just got off the ground, volume is picking up, and I'm going with other CAPS opinions.

VANCE INFO is the first IT Outsourcing comapny listed in USA Stock Markets

China is copying India strategy to develop a powerfull IT OPutsourcing Sector and this strategy is decided and supported by Chinese Government has promoted several large Outsourcing Centers in the main Cities of China including Dalian, Wuhan, ....

In general English level for Chinese IT profesional is improving very fast even not equal to Indian IT professional still

Labour cost are probably lower in China than in India for IT sector

Management skills for IT Sector in China are lower than India

But there are 2 big markets for VIT

1) Chinese internal market both private companies and government organisations are moving to IT Outsourcing strategies quite fast

2) Foreign companies established in China with a strong outsourcing culture for IT Services

Between its main clients are MS, IBM, ... and there is a strategy to diversify by clients and mrakets ( national and foreign )....

I find still 3 main problems

1) Level of revenue is still too low

2) Number of employees is too high for that level of revenue

3) Not too clear on the company segments in Financial 2008 Q1 report ( most of revenue es related with Research & Development activities ? instead of IT Applications & Maintenace Services)

But one of Chinese companies need to be considered very seriously both as itself and as leader of IT Outsourcing sector development in China

Check the scout reports run the presses. We got a winner. Look at the performance of this company. It is booming. With a projected revenue over 22 million in the second quarter. WOW!!!!!!!! This company is still a baby.. But I do believe it's a fast learning baby.. I'm not sure I've ever seen an IT company take off this fast or this quick. The projections say it all, and the charts prove it.. Don't pass this one up..
