All good enough for my money. I only suggest stocks that I own !

See 'Investment Analysis Clubs / Dynamic Value Investing' board and my CAPS profile for further excellent companies selling at a discount to Maxprice with excellent current metrics. CAPS only shows my selections over 100Mill (unfortunately due to restricted lower market cap applied by MF CAPS).

As stated on the 'Investment Analysis Clubs /Dynamic Value Investing' board my aim is to obtain up to 50% returns p.a. as Buffett stated he could obtain (3 times) recently. A very difficult task but you can follow along with my buys and sells on my CAPS page, where I put my money where my mouth is . If I perform well I hope you can benefit. If not , feel free to ignore my comments. CAPS allows each and everyone of us to be clinically judged on our stock picking abilities over the LONG TERM.

Please always do your own due diligence before investing.

Sometimes I wonder if I'm on crack, but with as much information as I can find financially, I do really like this stock. I bought in a little higher than I wanted, but this is a speculative stock for me.

The home market of Brazil is enticing as we all know, but Vivo has both a strong market position and strong backing from joint owners Spanish Telefonica and Portuguese Telecom. With 128 million subscribers, Brazil's mobile market is 66% penetrated. Of that, 34 million, or 26% of that goes to Vivo, the highest percentage. If penetration goes even to 80% (Below Russia, Turkey, South Africa), we have 194 million subscribers, 50 million go to Vivo and that's assuming the market shares stay the same.

According to their quarterly report, Vivo is actually increasing subscribers, is increasing cash flows and is starting to make more money, which is better than rival TIM is doing. Vivo has mid teen percent increases YOY in subscribers, operating revenue and is building the dominant share (80%+) in the GSM market.

I'd say Bom Dia Vivo! (Hello to Vivo)

This is the time to buy. Viv is down now but will shoot up to $8.00 by the end of the summer and it will keep on growing. Well positioned in a growing economy.

VIV will benefit greatly from the Petrobras oil explorations. PBR to hire 14,000 workers to work the rigs. Huge supporting cast will be required to build out infrastructure and support workers. Will attract workers from all over Brazil. Most will be seperated from families for long durations. VIV is the major wireless player in the oil development regions. VIV just added the new Blackberry to their line-up. Once debt gets reduced by 35-50% VIV will soar. 4.8% growth in Brazil doesn't hurt either. Viv will trade between $40-60 by mid 2010. Hold tight ,long on VIV.

I would like to say 5+yrs because as brazils population will grow more able have such items as cellphones today are very atractive multifuntional more affordabie broadening into these developing and high population markets. Who could live without one when you can have one? My concern is will vivo be here to see it. hope so. Made a little wager today to like to see them for another bite at the apple.
