This is a story stock pure and simple. However, when (rather than if) Li-ion batteries are banned from aircraft altogether except the extremely safe Valence Saphion recipe, then this company is likely to be bought by Sony. This, simply to get access to the phosphate cocktail patents they hold. Right now the capacity of the standard 4-8 cell battery isn't enough for 4 hour run time on a laptop but with development, and increasingly lower consumption chips and LED backlighting, it will become possible to attain.
