It has hit the top of its value. It has to implode soon.

I like the business model of this small company, Virgin Mobile, (VM). As a wireless telecommunications services provider it offers "prepaid and postpaid" wireless services to the youth market mainly in the Untied States. If you are like me, a parent of two teenagers, it is certainly a welcomed service.
Most importantly however it like some of its fundamentals. According to VectorVest.com, VM which is currently trading just a shade below $5.00 has a current Value of $10.34 per share.
I understand that the another giant wireless service provider, Sprint (S) is trying to acquire VM. I feel that such a move could enhance Sprint's value and broaden its market. We'll see.
When I checked "Market Edge's" opinion on the stock, the opined that: its "Up/Down volume pattern indicates that the stock is under Accumulation. The 50 day Moving Average is rising which is Bullish. The 200 day Moving Average is rising which is Bullish.
Price is above Resistance of 4.77 which is Bullish.
Based on these expert opinions and other information that I have seen, my Fool's commonsense tells me that VM will break above its 52 weeks high of $5.32 soon. When this occurs what will be the next upper limit for VM? Your guess will be as good as mine, but I will set m upper limit at $10.34 per share as valued by VectorVest.com.

go merger go...

The upcoming acquisition by Sprint creates a nice floor under this stock which will allow it to capture Sprint's gains while experiencing less volatility.

Virgin Mobile is a small cap growth company. Fair earnings projections. I think that it will reach $5.00 before October options expiration.

Virgin lives the "don't be evil" philosophy.

High insider ownership. Decent PE ratio. Low price-to-sales ratio. Low PEG. Go Richard Branson!
Recs
Virgin Mobile's valuation over the last 12 months has been abnormally low.
* Look at their sister companies (VM Canada, VM UK) and the price they got acquired at, relative to sales and market share.
* Look at VM USA's $1.4B sales run rate, take a % of net profit they can achieve and apply any reasonable PE to it.
* Look at the $0.24 per share they produced in Q1FY09 in such tough economic conditions, make it annual, think about FY10 and apply your PE estimate to that number.
* Think about the brand and the possibility of them getting some new phones with a "coolness" factor and Buzz.
... seems like there is some potential.

Recent acquisitions and good company. Will be a good buy for somebody one day.

Likely to be acquired

this company needs to do something or else it should be under soon..........

pre-paid phones are on the rise
Recs
I picked this stock on Caps a day before it rose 21%, but it has been down lately due to profit losses and customers declining number. However, as a strong company, you can expect this stock to go up in the future....
Recs
I believe this stock has been over-sold. With the economy getting tighter, more people will go to the pre-paids with added service.
Recs
This stock is currently at under 250 and should catch upto the 15$ mark. Most users will move to a simpler and less complicated cell phone plan. Pay use forget.

They no longer advertise, all of the other major phone companys have new phones advertised monthly, which is what brings in the customers. Poor customer service, this company is a sinking ship.
