The company has been growing very well, so perhaps the high price would be warranted based on previous performance. It looks to me that they have no moat and other companies are hot on their tail. I don't think the price ($62/share) is warranted… More

At work, we thought running our applications on VMWare was going to help with fatal errors. Nope. I still crash over 5 times a day.

(Obviously this is Autodesk's fault not VMWare's - my view server has only crashed once. But for me they aren't adding much value.)

Although Microsoft is making inroads on virtualization and clouds, their licensing scheme is still batty. With the decline of the role of the PC in IT infrastructure, IT managers are looking for an excuse to escape the MS treadmill.
