I find it easy to imagine uses for their pressure sensing material and it's computer interface.

Could not have said it any better myself. If a fundamentally sound, well-run company can stay profitable though the hard times, the rate of change in stock price when conditions improve can be very high. A bit further down the road, revenues and margins are up...then the real appreciation kicks in.
