VPRT is the leader in online printing, a powerhouse in a highly fragmented, $100 bn global market. With market leading technology, 16 patents, and lowest cost production, this is a company with huge growth potential within consumer and SOHO printing.

Launched in 2000, and public since late 2005, VPRT has almost 10 million customers in over 120 countries (via 18 websites), and already processing over 25,000 orders per day. This is a business model with pronounced economies of scale.

VPRT has notched up 28 quarters of sequential, organic growth, from $500k to $72.5m. Most recent annual revenues of $91m, $152m and $256m represent 55%, 67% and 68% growth respectively. (And VPRT is profitable too.)

These figures were enough to make VPRT the fastest growing printer in the Graphic Arts Monthly 101 Top Printers for last 2 years, and, most likely (based on 2007 actual revenue, and 2008 guidance) for the next 2 years. First year at #59, 2nd year at #39, VPRT should reach Top 20 based on 2008 guidance.

Recent good news includes patent litigation wins, the introduction of co-branded corporate solutions, and a major agreement with OfficeMax for offline distribution. This was coupled with strong quarterly results, and encouraging forward guidance.

Due to the recent market turmoil, VPRT is aproximately 25% off its year high, which now represents a great entry point. VPRT is a potential $1bn revenue company (2011?), with a market cap of $5bn plus. In 4 years, that's at least a 3-bagger, possibly much more. A return not to be sneezed at!

Fill an underserved market for small businesses. With patented technology, Vistaprint allows small business owners to create custom print products without the high costs for small volume orders. As an aggressive first-mover into this market segment, Vistaprint will grow quite profitably within the next couple of years before any competition develops.

This is a growing company which has generated steadily increasing earnings. I believe it hs 2-3 years before significant competition and market maturity decrease its momentum.

An up-and-coming online printing giant, or a flash-in-the-pan? I'm taking a chance on VistaPrint, partly because my wife swears by their products (she runs her own pet care business and uses VistaPrint's very-high-quality business cards and flyers), partly because I am seeing more and more local businesses using VistaPrint, and partly because it's new and small enough to be a potential multi-bagger over the next several years. I have serious misgivings about the low level of founder/officer ownership, the recent raft of insider sales, its headquartering in Bermuda, and the frequency with which it offers free printing jobs. Still, they're raking in cash, and I am deeply impressed with the quality and the speedy delivery of their products. It's a small wager anyway, and I hope to be pleasantly surprised.

3 new patents, a huge, innovative technology base, and basically the only company in its field, this company has demonstrated a track record for having a huge market and for growing quickly to fill its need.
