Appears to be a holding company without any holdings. No notable income. Looks to be more like an excuse to pay someone a six figure salary while they "look" for acquisitions. I say nay.

Look at the price to tangible book of some drillers & oil services companies:

Schlumberger (SLB) 6.4
National Oilwell Varco (NOV) 5.0
Transocean (RIG) 2.7
ENSCO (ESV) 1.5
Unit Corp (UNT) 1.2
Parker Drilling (PKD) 1.2
Precision Drilling (PDS) 1.1
Rowan Drilling (RDC) 1.0 (my favorite)
Bronco Drilling (BRNC) 0.6 (debt/distressed)

Vantage (VTG) 0.4 (!!!!!)

There is barely any earnings history to speak of, so that is the extent of my analysis.

drillers are drilling again, and this one is off-shore...literally, in deep water...again literally. Africa and Indonesia. it had a good start then Sep'08 happened; but life goes on.
