part of Peter Lynch strategy is to pick boring companies with ridiculous names. This company specializes in braking equipment for railroads and transit (subways). eps has risen by > 40% annually last 5 years. did I mention 40% of business is outside the US?

Wabtec Corp (WAB) provides value-added, technology-based products and services for the rail industry.
At the current price of $39.10 as I type this, the p/e is less than 16, and the dividend is only 0.10%.
The stock has not been a winner since I picked it over a year ago, but I still think it will prove to be a winner over the coming years. Rail is more fuel-efficient than highway for transportation. While we have had a respite from $4.00 per gallon gasoline because of the difficult economic times, I think that oil prices are destined to go even higher as the economy improves.
