MEMC Electronic Materials, Inc. (NYSE:WFR)

US increasing solar.

Stock has seen its lows - just announced layoff/restructuring, insider buying and good time to buy as everyone hates the solar industry and the semiconductor industry is looking bad as well. Not a long time hold of course

The stock price has fallen precipitously to a price significantly under tangible book value, while the company's management is being honest and forthright about every piece of their business. We know why the company is struggling and where the struggles are coming from, but the price has fallen to a point where you would think MEMC will be out of business.

Insiders have been buying at prices above where it is now, as they see the strength in their balance sheet and wave of revenue on the way from their Sun Edison portion of the business.

Just can't believe the stock is where it is. Buy Big!

Steel will always be used, WFR has taken quite a hit, i see this being quite low for this stock

stinky cheap

This company wouldn't be a terrible prospect on its own. I would look for this company to be purchased within a year, due to it's potential under circumstances of better management. This company on its own will grow, likely better then most of the companies in the dieing semiconductor industry. Their wafer technology is perfect and their balance sheet shows an effort to recover. They invested a large sum of money into research recently, so I will speculate they are finishing up a new product and trying to push it into the market sooner.

This company owns the silicon production and has two major markets for it. Solar didn't even play into the WFR equation during its last run to nearly $100 pre-crash. I think WFR has big earnings potential for a long time, but I am just short puts at present, so I may get left behind.

DuPont saw strong PV sales growth and oil is going up.

Cramer pick, ibankcoin pick, getting killed off of DQ earnings, however, it certainly looks primed to go lower. I do think it outperforms long-term, their semi biz is just to good.

Great CEO. Gave $500,000 bonus back to compnay to retrain employees. The are coming back. Check out insider trading on company.
