I really don't see how this company can stay in business long-term. Horrible balance sheet, deteriorating revenues - it has bankruptcy written all over...

Using this as a marker to see how the reverse split from the WIN rest spinoff affects the price and score. The reverse split could have larger institutions adding WIN shares into S&P 500 funds, since the WIN share price will be in the range of $48/share following the 1:6 reverse split.

Meeting consumer needs. Interesting to see how much of the pie they can get from the big boys who dominate the market.

Either it will outperform or it will be gobbled up by one of the big boys...a win, win proposition.

It only took me being offered their services and then being force to accept the alternative, absolute crap, provider I currently have. Their bandwidth packages are laughable, their customer service is a bunch of call centers that are contracted out and don't have any record you've already called umpteen times, and oh yea, DSL is totally dumb... How could they succeed? They can only scrape by picking up the stragglers that are FORCED to use them because Comcast, Cox, FioS, etc don't provide to the black holes of America.

Many of my relatives use windstream for internet access. Thought I'd watch it.

Assume they cut the dividend by 50%. Then would people be convinced that they have enough cash flow to cover their debt, dividend and Capex and continue to grow? If they have been able to give $1.00 for 5 years, surely, they can do it at half the rate right? Now at $0.50 the dividend would STILL yield 5-6%. So you get a growth stock with 5-6% dividend to boot.

Now let's say by their growth businesses execute as expected and they don't cut the dividend. You get 10%+ dividend with growth.

WIN-WIN situation.

Solid dividend + likely sympathetic pullback due to CTL 20% drop.

If WIN keeps up its dividend and net income continues to drop - the price should remain flat at best. If WIN has to cut its dividend - a lot of investors are not going to see a need to hold the stock anymore

I don't see happy things for this company. Their technology is behind the times, they don't do anything others don't do better, their dividend is probably unsustainable, and I can't see them being bought out until they ratched down to yard sale level. Worrisome.

Anybody who buys this stock does not deserve to be called an investor. This company has some of the worst fundamentals that I have ever seen! Long-term the probability is very high that this company will go bankrupt.

Win is struggling with sales and cash. There management has turned away from those things that made them competitive. I look for further struggle.
