Healthcare is on our minds. WLP is one way to decrease its costs to all of uys.
Recs
Healthcare reform will be too watered down and impotent to be a threat. Due for a good run.

Should've went long WLP as well when I bought my UNH @ $25.00 .

This is one of Cramer's 4 defensive legs to roll through 3Q 09. I think he's on crack, but I guess I gotta get me some of that crack too.

Healthcare stocks are beaten down due to the health care reform, but are still posting strong earnings.
Recs
Good company in a good sector.

Selling at 9.5 times earnings, 15% growth. Depressed due to healthcare debate.

It looks ultracheap today. Can't imagine what it looked like when it hit $31 on March-3-2009. Wow!
I think market has priced this one so low due to the healthcare debate and uncertainty surrounding it.

UL's prediction.

The PUBLIC OPTION will be part of the health legislation, and many people will feel this is bad for the medicals insurers.

I am acting on Cramer's theory that healthcare stocks are due for a breakout as the plans for health care reform become less and less radical. Wellpoint seems like a good candidate because it is selling for 1.15 times book value and less than 10 times estimated 2009 earnings.

Lets try this again. Short term rally as healthcare reform gets tabled

Great Health care company with good earnings and growth.

Health insurers have cut the doctors as far as they can be cut (they are now quitting the networks) and squeezed customers as far as they can be squeezed. HOw long do you think a school teacher can continue to pay $800 a month so she can pay a $40 copay at the doctor? Do NOT buy these stocks.
Recs
Lost money last quarter ( a lot of money) and has a fairly small income of 50K per employee for over 1 million in revenue. This sector has been bid up and this stock pays no dividends.
Recs
This way-undervalued, major healthcare company looks like it has already met bottom and is knocking on the door for the return journey. Add to this any healthcare incentives from government and we have a hot item on our hands. :-)

WLP IS ONE OF THE HEALTHCOMPANIES THAT I AM WATCHING TO BUY IN MID 09. I WILL LET ALL FOOLS KNOW WHICH ONE I BUY

Unusually High Call Volume at $45 for 2/09
