This stock is considerably overbought and is trading at a substantial premium to its competitors. This is not justified and will correct. Momentum traders and those speculating on M&A seemingly have bid this stock up, but when we start to see a loss of momentum, this stock will likely come crashing down.

Attractive energy play: coal plus natural gas. This stock will eventually bounce back and generate high returns.

Walter made the right choice in dumping the housing business. The geenies' anti-coal jihad will run face first into economic reality once energy prices start to creep back up across the board. Exposure to natural gas helps a lot, too.

Their financials aren't the best, but that's not terribly unusual in this business, and they're in better shape than a lot of their competitors.

Well run coal and natural gas companies are likely to do well in 2009.
