Ever see Wall-E? Nuff said.
Recs
Increasing demand for recycling and eco friendly waste management.
Recs
I like what little I know of their business model. I stress I know very little.

This met a high level screen to indicate a buy and strong outperform against its peers (other tickers in its industry). My 1st version of this spreadsheet devles deep into the company's balnace sheet and recent income statements, combined with other relevant price data for the company including insider/institutional holdings, short interest, debt levels, etc.
Testing capabilities of this 1st version of my automated, valuation spreadhseet matched with my personal criteria and see how it holds up.

You just have to love a stock that offers a service everyone needs and gives you a dividend.

I currently own this stock.

when economy picks so does waste product, I,m sure the stimulus package will work it,s way down to our refuse, another play may be recycling.Waste mgt. has the means to be on top because of thier centers.

14 P/E ? What does these guys have a patent on throwing a can in a truck? Yea.. Bill Gates... yea I heard that too. All I see are a lot of green thumbs and red points.
Recs
No matter what the economy does, we all produce garbage. Not everybody lives out in the country and can have a burn barrel for thier trash. So for all the city slickers out there, Waste Management is for you.
Recs
Fixation on environment will benefit them as technology becomes more important
Recs
Trash is big business. In it for the recycling and resource recovery which, I believe, will become much more profitable for them in the future.

This time the Wall Street WM watchers have it right: 11-0. Waste Management also recycles all sorts of stuff and owns several companies, e.g. Allied Waste. There will be more garbage and more recycling as our population grows.
Recs
As people buy more they will recycle more. As home building begins to increase again they will need Waste Management to get the trash they accumulate.
Recs
This is a solid company in the "solid waste" business. It has lagged a bit in this market bounce and should hold up on any pull back. I look for it to outperform the broader market over the next three years or so.
Recs
good dividend, steady trash business
Recs
The dividend is good and as long as we inhabit this planet we will have garbage. They are the largest.
Recs
WMI just opened an environment plant in my area. I know that demand is low right now but it will get better, especially with the new political climate.
Recs
Solid (waste) business that is never going away.
Nice dividend.
Dominance in its industry.
