A Benjamin Graham screener has brought this one to light for me.
Currently trades with a P/E of 14, a P/B of 1.4, and a P/B of 0.4, which are all below the company's 10 year averages.
While the company has only posted 3% revenue growth and 4% EPS growth yoy for the last decade, Weis does offer a growing 3% dividend and has no long-term debt.
Despite holding a bullish long-term outlook on the market, I believe Weis makes a great "recession-proof" holding in a market that is at all-time highs.
Recs
Good profitability, improving fundamentals, cheap on P/B basis with very little debt, strong balance sheet, nice dividend yield to compliment
Recs
No debt a lot of cash high yield won't go down as much over the next 2-3 months and will come back strong
Recs
Lack of debt will allow for small acquisitions and easier expansion and updating of stores.
