High quality company at a good-sized discount to the overall market. Consistent earnings, strong free cash flow, growing dividend and meaningful share repurchases.

Much negative attention lately over banning sales of the Confederate / Rebel flag, which a number of loudmouth metropolitan elitist leftwing race baiters have deemed "racist" (which it isn't - see outburst in the news from the guy who played "Cooter" in The Dukes of Hazzard). This has got a number of people from the proud & stubborn South promising to boycott them (basically their core customer base), as they seem to have taken it as an insult tantamount to telling them to start wearing shoes + stop sleeping with their sister.
Situation made worse by fact they were still perfectly alright with selling cake with the ISIS flag on it, as well as NAZI + Communist merchandise, which has also gone viral in the news.

Whenever another bull market hits (overdue??), Wal-Mart and other discount retailers will hold their own, even thrive.

Wal-Mart should be double-dipping on the benefits of low oil prices: reduced shipping costs and increased disposable consumer income.
