Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. (NYSE:WMT)

Customers don't like being abused. As the economy continues to improve, shoppers will look for alternatives and reach out for a better shopping experience even if it costs a little more. I don't think the executives at Walmart are seeing this from their ivory tower in Bentonville and the pressure to correct the abuses of customers won't come immediately. The reaction will be slow and ponderous.

Market should outperform over-priced WMT stock over next few years.

Too big, horrible employee retention and to save 2 dollars off a 200.00 bill makes no sense and have those lines and bad service is a lose lose.

Wal-mart has always been a thriving business

Wal-Mart is the largest corporation on the planet, and has been growing consistently for the past decade. In that decade, Wal-Mart has opened thousands of new stores and forced scores of supermarket chains out of business. It's earnings per share, dividends, and revenue are consistently on the rise. Overall, this is an excellent stock.

Payroll tax increase, sluggish economy = time to go to wal-mart

Fiscal cliff decision will lead to more lower middle class spending over the next month.

I just don't see holiday shopping being that strong this year.

Able to evolve and adapt to remain dominant. Also highly efficient. PE = 13, 2.2% yield.

Lots of people shop there and prices are low.

Once the Unions get their claws in Walmart, it will start to go the way of Hostess.

Holidays plus fiscal clift

Taking a beating for a weaker than expected outlook. A good time to get in to a company that people will about always shop at because lets face it - they do a good job a keeping prices / or at least appearing to keep prices lower than competitors

I don't shop here but sadly this is the trend as the economy go bipolar ...

with the poor economy...the good pricing AND the new venturep with American Express i feel this is a core stock
