At $36, it's 33% undervalued. Est annual growth = 11-20%. My wife is always shopping at their stores on-line, and I bet this will continue to grow with women.

William Sonoma, pottery barn, pottery barn for kids:

So very discretionary it is scary,
correlated to housing,
no one is trading down to these stores, people are trading down away from these stores.

I personally like to shop at both Williams Sonoma and Pottery Barn, but I doubt I will buy anything at either store for a awhile. I suspect others feel the cash crunch too. This company is unlikely to outperform if the economy stays in recession.

Isn't much in Williams - but it is pretty. Sonoma - nothing special there unless your a tourist or a crystal rubbing hippy friend of the McCain family. Overall I don't see combining the two will make any money.
