This is part of the mobile internet index that Cramer is touting I looked and figured what the hay its worth a shot to see if they grow they way he thinks they will. His thesis is that the mobile internet while be as big a game changer as the original internet was. Being a CTO I do not think it will be that big a movement but it will provide enough growth for his index to work just not be the huge bust out he thinks it will be. What your looking at is replacing every cell phone and laptop with a device that can connect to the internet at broadband speeds form just about anywhere in the US. The only problem I with his choice is that he left out HP and DELL and Lenovo the big laptop makers they will have a play and I am including them in my version of the index.

CEO Moshe Gavrielov has made company profitable by cutting jobs. Better to grow the business. Xilinx is facing stiff competition from MicroChips.

Sticking with my strategy of doing the opposite of what Jim Cramer suggests.

According to Next Inning, programmable logic will outperform semis in general -- and I agree. Besides, these guys always make money!

Xilinx Platform Studio is a bug-ridden piece of software that I've unfortunately had the experience using. You can't save your project on a network drive, you can't have spaces in the directory you save the product, and one time I had Xilinx delete my main C source code file (!) for a project I was working on -- luckily, the the code was open in the editor already, so I could save it and create a new file. The existence of these bugs indicate poor programming. Xilinx is, however, a major contender in programmable logic, and it will take some time to unseat this beast but unless they improve their products, this Goliath will fall to a David in the distant future.

Extraordinary sales, beating growth in the industry and its sector. Currently pursuing business opportunities internationally that I believe will result in strong performance and additional growth of this company.

The stock market is largely ignoring the recent oil spike as something that cannot persist in the current stage of the business cycle but this is in turn feeding higher oil prices. The stock market is about to realize where oil is going and fall; and most affected will be today's leading IT sectors.

While Xilinx was mostly into communications, as that revenue stream slips, they are moving into other other end markets such as consumer, automotive, industrial, and defense
