3D printing will become a significant part of manufacturing and eventually will reach every day consumers like you and me. 3D stocks are way down this year. So it is a great time for me to add them to my scorecard.

This call is based on the "Rising Tide of 3-D Printing" theory. Unlike DDD and SSYS, this company still has a market cap under 1B, so more potential upside.

As a small company XONE can be volatile to the point of inducing motion sickness. It has cutting edge technology, however, and that will make it a long-term winner.

3D printing company that uses metal, glass and plastic. A small player compared to 3d and stratys but may be a good takeover candidate because of their appeal to large manufacturers.

Unrealized earning potential not yet priced in. Also 3d printing sentiment will continue to drive price higher.

41% Short Interest, improving forward P:E, targets higher than trading price, rising sector, strong short squeeze potential. Check Seeking Alpha's article "Could ExOne Be The Best 3DP investment?". It talks about all these reasons.

It develops 3D printers with metal capabilities. Metal 3D printing is obviously strategic. As long as confirms itself a serious player in the field the will thrive and I assume ultimately some larger company will buy it out.
