You've got to be kidding me...not a single underperform rating here. Are we looking at the same company? Xyratex is in the midst of a pretty major sales decline and it isnt going to simply go away in a single quarter. Their products are good, but their customers are not buying like they were in 2005. Sales declined in the most recent quarter and it created a huge drop in profits. I would fully expect lower earnings expectations over the next 3-6 months and based on a clear break in the technicals on the two year chart, id say a head and shoulders formation is highly probable (that'd have bearish connotations). No way this beats the S&P over the next 2-6 months.

Despite the bad news today the stock price actually rebounded by the afternoon. Going forward expect the price to climb.

This came to me today as a personalized recommendation from CAPS. I like the near term growth rate and Forward P/E, but the 5-yr PEG is a little high for my tastes. Anyhoo, should be good for a year or so, and if it's not then I will blame CAPS...

This company produces high quality storage units for the tech industry. It's really starting to take off now and think its worth watching.
