XTO has some nice hedge plays above current market price all through 2010 with room to sell more if market improves. Safe bet on this stock great Natural Gas plays and with oil on the rebound along with the world economy this company can only climb… More

Leader of the pack in shale gas E&P; XOM marriage may impact their management efficiency, but should also help XOM gain share in the gas side of E&P, especially if they can extrapolate XTO's US-based experience to their other locations

Company is being acquired by Exxon in a flat-lined to down oil market. There's no significant upside in this stock until the deal closes. At that point, since it was an all stock deal, longs in XTO are hoping that XOMs shares are significantly higher, otherwise the deal wasn't very good overall. Management made out like crazy with their 'golden parachute' multi-million dollar payouts that they are getting!
