California AG has filed suit against the company and top execs accusing them of, among other things, being an illegal pyramid scheme.

Here's some high-tech financial analysis:
They are a multi-level travel agency...you can be a travel-agent too. How can anyone honestly believe that this is an opportunity for growth? Anyone with internet service can book flights, hotels, and rental cars (do I sound too much like William Shatner here?) without paying for an online travel agent to do this...
Travelzoo, Priceline, etc. are suffering and they don't pay-out commissions to a multi-level sales organization...YTB will dive deeper than hotels.com and recover slower than any of these other online travel portals...
Sorry gang...thumbs down, way way down.

This is a new company which faces many competitors that don't like its new style of running things. The road may look bumpy now, but it will get better and excel over time.

Looks like a scam to me.

I bought the YTB opportunity in October of 2005. I was Travel Rep after training. More important, I bought the stock at $1.25 and got out at $8.(hit a high of $18/sh) At the beginning of this year, I bought the stock at a buck and got out at $1.70/sh.(hit a high of $4/sh.) I know what they are doing and everything they are doing is above board(As far as I can tell). A couple of the players came from A L Williams (buy term, invest the difference). Check out the early years of ALW. They offer a legitimate business opportunity, enhanced by being on the web. In my opinion the company today is worth $2/sh, and will be buying personally on all dips under $2/sh. As a last note, the company has the potential to be the best MLM company since Amway.

This is a MLM company that derives 80 percent of its revenues from getting new suckers to sign up. Like any other pyramid scheme, the people at the top get rich, while the people at the bottom do not. The company itself is a shame. How can it call itself a travel company when less than 15% of it revenues actually come from travel commissions?

This company was projected to become the number one online travel company by 2010. It was number 35 in 2007. It is growing so fast, it's now projected to become number one by end of 2008.
