The company is losing money (free cash flow) every year and has tons of debt. The company operates in one of the most capital intensive industries in the world. Only a fool would pick this as outperform.

With oil topping out at 147 and just dipping below 125 today, all airlines stocks should do well in the near term. Should also benefit as hot money flows in through airlines from the CEA merger rumors. Will probably hit 27 rather easily, with long term prospects entirely dependent on the price of oil.

I find your analysis very balanced and interesting for ZNH

In the short term the situation is / has been ver difficult mainly because oil orices running permanently up but we expect oil prices pull back when international financial markets recover a lmore stable situation In any cases China fuel prices are higlhly regulated ( problems for Sinopec , Petrochina,...) and Chinese Government is trying to tame inflation.

Chinese airlines have a fast growing captive internal market and a fast growing international market.

This company is a member of SKYTEAM and profit for partnership whith AIR FRANCE KLM the World Airline leader

After Beijing Olimpics 2008 there is Shangahi 2010 and much more both China is a big tourism & business destination and Chinese are like to travel very much in China and abroad

International Management criteria are every day more present in Chinese Champions companies to improve competitiviness

Of course several "problems" related with SOE State Owned Enterprises management in China still penalize the company development

I think we are around the botton and good time to buy with a several months term to make profits

The airline sector is obviously in a little trouble right now and will more than likely continue to suffer throughout the summer driving season when oil prises are at their usual highs; however, the charts for all airlines are just so oversold, and I see a quick bounce throughout the sector before a continuation of downward pressure returns.

Load up on this and buy as much as you can. At this price, you will profit big. Trust me.

A company in a communist country with terrible fundamentals. The only thing propping this up is the big rush to buy chinese stocks regardless of how good or bad the company. This airline will crash and burn eventually.

This airline will soar as the Olimpics approach. I don't think oil prices will remain as high and I think the thought of high jet fuel is depressing ZHN. Stock should reach over 90.

China Southern will outperform but whether or not this company well merge into another Chinese airline remains to be seen.
