Incredible cash control, zero debt, committed management and a product that kids love. Here's one vote against school uniforms!!!
Recs
Good buy in price for a retailer that will grow over the next 5 years significantly.
Recs
This company has abandoned relationships with existing vendors that they admit have been exemplary. This displays an arrogance and carelesness on the part of management. I am very concerned about the results of the decisions they will make going forward.
Recs
good record of growth with plenty of geography ahead of it. Solid profit picture. Current valuation is above average, but growth should continue.
Recs
ZUMZ is too expensive even at todays uner $22 price. Margin of safety will be there if it ever hits about $18.
Recs
Took a huge hit because it posted good, not great, financials. Its sector took a hit and it fell along with it. Lots of room for growth as it hasn't even gotten established on the east coast yet.

growth potential is good

beaten down value
Recs
ZUMZ has great growth potential and after its recent beating, the P/E ratio is much better than a few months ago. I'm not saying this is the bottom, but this company is posting great numbers, growing strong, and has lots of potential to keep going. The sector is down and ZUMZ, with what was a very high P/E, took the hit more than most. The drop is a sector problem, no bad news on ZUMZ part best I can tell...

They're hot right now with teens. Enough said.

Adept at keeping ahead of market trends in a fast changing market.

I'm a fan of the fact that there's so much room for them to grow (both monetarily and physically). Tom G. wrote that they have less than 200 stores now with a long term goal of around 800. Sounds like a growth story to me.
