1. Wellness+ program rewards people and keeps them coming back.
2. "According to the U.S. Census Bureau, there are more than 77 million boomers in the U.S. and by 2030, this demographic (born between 1946 and 1964) will represent an estimated 20% of the population. This means more than 10,000 baby boomers will turn 65 every day for the next 19 years." Look for an influx of 65+ aged retirees needing prescription. Check out their Wellness65+ program.
3. Affordable Healthcare Act. + Generic Drugs + McKesson deal = great long term growth opportunity.
4. Redoing a lot of run down stores.
5. New stores look amazing. The one down my street is new and looks clean and fresh. The customer service is very good too.

Turning around a sinking company with hard numbers is quite amazing. I'd hold but not invest until it show a turn around, I'm looking at 7.75 to 8 before getting in.

I invested in RAD last summer and sold when I was up 125%. Saw another move coming which didn't really materialize this year, but still holding on up about 7%.Oh well!

Good example of a turn-around story. RAD has been striving to recuperate their brand as well as their previous strong positioning within the pharmacy/health care industry. Despite some struggles and competition, I feel the company is making sound strategic investments that should result in long term positive results. From retail clinics to new "wellness" focused stores, among other up and coming initiatives I can see the company achieving full success in the coming years.

Compared to its competition like Walgreen, this stock is priced right and is set to go up.

You can't teach 7' tall. If you wanted to start a basketball team
you need a 7' tall man. RAD is 7' tall with about 4500 stores.
They will get rid of all debt by issuing more shares at $ 7-8.00
Then watch it run.

Solid growth over the next year will help boost this pharmacy. Using their debt to redesign stores and improve their pharmacy is a great first start to gaining more costumers and competing with the other big pharmacies around.

RAD-Rite-Aid: Based on my analysis, I firmly believe that this stock will trend upward short- term, mid-term and long-term whether RAD is acquired or not. If acquired, this stock will certainly trade at a premium. I strongly believe that Wal-Mart will step in and acquire RAD sooner rather later. WMT is seeing positive results w/ testing smaller Walmart-Express stores. RAD is perfect for them to materially increase their footprint in the Rx business and small express store format, especially in urban areas where their big box stores are not conveinently close.
