First, let me express my complete and utter disgust with every "Yes" vote and ensure you all you will never see another vote or dime from me, including my senators and rep, who I have supported for years. This is no less than a complete betrayal of your duties and our system of government. It was your committees who enacted the deregulation that led to this. You OPENLY ADMIT YOU VOTED CONTRARY TO THE WILL OF YOUR CONSTITUENTS, but must "do what's right." That is not possible in your job! You were not elected because you're smarter than us--you most certainly are not--you were elected to represent. And nobel lauretes and hundreds of economists who without a doubt ARE smarter than you told you it was a BAD IDEA.  [more]
