1 Spot Prices Spike!

In 2011. I dreaded hearing spot prices being between $10,000-15,000. However, like many of you, I got used to this norm for daily prices until today. On the 18th of may, daily spot prices for Suexmax's went through the roof. The timetable might not be stable going forward in keeping this exciting price, therefore should not get your hopes up too much. The positive to take away from this is NAT, FRO and other tankers did not plan on this spike, hense the chances of beating the quater might be in their favor. NAT holding the strongest balance sheet will be the most likely to impress the street. [more]
