Why analysts are wrong on IPI and POT

Today was painful for fert holders.  MOS missed their earnings.  The reason was their main phosphate branch: phosphate inventories were rising and they cut their production, but gave positive outlook.  However, they explicity said in their release that potash prices are still rising strongly and that there was an all time low inventory level in August.  Supply increases are minimal and demand is skyrocketing.    [more]
