ANADIGICS, Inc. (ANAD)

CAPS Rating:
*****

The Company is a provider of semiconductor solutions in the growing broadband wireless and wireline communications markets.

Rating a stock in CAPS consists of three components:

Your call - Will this stock outperform or underperform the S&P 500? Successful picks are measured in terms of whether or not you were correct and by how many percentage points.

Your time frame - A guideline for other members to see whether your thinking is short or long-term. Time frame is also used to calculate the stock rating, but is not used in the scoring of your pick.

Your pitch - Here's your chance to offer more detailed thoughts, analysis, concerns, or the rationale behind your call. The pitch is optional and may be added later.

Each time you rate a stock, CAPS updates the community intelligence for the company, which may or may not change its CAPS rating. For more information, visit the Help tab at the top of the page.

This company has been a little shaky for the past year, but in the all around, it’s a pretty solid performer. With it being just a bit above it’s 52 week low after announcing lowered guidance for 3Q, this is a perfect time to buy. They are a great company with a lot backing them up and a 30% drop is uncalled for for such a slight lowering of the 3Q guidance. I believe this will rebound between $7.00 and $8.00 within a couple of weeks at the most.

The I Phone might hurt small margins on their headsets, but I still see them outperforming over the next couple of years.

Oversold based on lowered expectations for the near future. The company is expanding in China to meet growing demand, which leads me to believe it's a short term issue, and should reverse itself relatively soon.

I simply used the screener to find all of the 5 star stocks with the greatest 52-week losses. 5 stars should make them good picks and the high 52-week loss should make them cheap. We’ll see how it works!

Clicking "Beat this Stock!" will bring you to a company with a higher rating than the one you're currently viewing.

That is, until there is a new No. 1 stock!
