Started looking at gaming to short (LVS, MGM), with discretionary spending down due to higher staples costs, but this one doesn't have much further down to go without cutting into the book value. Actually, book is >$15, or 15% above current price. It may take a month to a year, but I think that the valuation will have to reflect management's growth prospects, with a new casino expected to open as the slowdown likely ends by 2010. Speculative, but both a growth and a value play.
