Looks like the two of them are assembling a duopoly in this sector. DVA's a bit more shareholder friendly right now (higher ROC,ROE) but both of them are going to grow, increasing earnings and book value, as obesity and type-II diabetes explodes across the world. More and more Americans are ending up on dialysis machines and Davita is the leading company in America. It is the Mcdonalds of dialysis. There is one on every corner, you just don't see them.
