Over the next 2-4 years EQ will outperform the telecom sector and the S&P 500. This is due to aggresive defensive strategies, and its most aggresive sales force ever. The trick will come in acquiring new customers and succesfully offering video and voip services alongside its landlie network.

Massive debt and interest expenses will make it difficult for EQ to outperform. Business is also stagnant in some sectors and strategic direction is in question. Divedend is also a drag on cash and while it may not have to be cut, it would be a good idea.

In addition to their huge debt and poor management, their customer service is lousy which is likely to drive away business.





Get this, their web site "Report Problem" link doesn't work, and their link to check on the status of a repair request times out without ever working.





In other words, a company that sells high speed Internet access cannot maintain two essential web links that work.
