Two red thumbs down on this one. Fraud, horrible, better yet scandoulous management and pitiful numbers, make this sock plan and simply yucky!

I have read numerous thumbs up pitches for this and other builder stocks (look at HOV which I am also thumbs down on) that talk about the great rebound in the housing sector in much of the same manner I hear people calling for a rebound in a bad bull market. I am not sure if these people just don't own homes and don't know anything about the sector or they do own them and are hoping that if they say it enough, it will come true. Either way they are dead wrong. Look at every major housing downswing in the last 50 years and a meaningful rebound has never happened in faster than 3 years. I am not sure how much lower these stocks can go, but considering that last month may be the bottom, why would you possibly want to hold your money in a stock that WILL under perform the market for YEARS. Be smart. The relatively rapid cyclical nature of the stock market is a bad comparison when looking at the housing sector. Put you money elsewhere for the next couple years. The last time the 20 day moving avg rose above the 40 day MA (in may), the stock price jumped from mid 4's to over 8 -- settled at 6 when the moving averages crossed back. The moving averages are close to crossing again which is a good bullish sign, along with several other indicators. The VV value on HSOA is 7.64. There is a good opportunity for this stock climb back above 5 by year end as momentum continues to mount behind it. When the management of a company lies and cheats blatantly, you can be sure of losses ahead. HSOA is not being run for the shareholders' benefit. If guidance looks good, it is probably lies told to inflate the stock price so management can sell. I'm shorting this one with real money. (Put options, as shares are not available to short.)
