Has all the makings of another ENRON.





Quarter after quarter the company dilutes shareholders equity with new debt and new shares issuances.





For a company that constantly reports great earnings, thier cash flow statement is a disaster.

This is a long-term play. The Fed estimates that the recession will end in summer 2009. When this happens, China and India will follow soon after. They will be hungry. Remember $140 oil and double-digit natural gas prices? Some of it may have been speculative, but a huge component was emerging markets. China and India are not going back to third-world status.

Huge (27%) drop today on news of higher than expected US inventories. This company is now trading at 70% of book value, and an EV/EBITDA of just north of 4, an effective yield of 25%. If you believe the recession will last forever, natural gas demand will fall to 0 and prices will fall to nil, this makes perfect sense. Otherwise, this is a chance to pick up an industry-leading energy company cheap. I think this is an easy thumbs up from here.

Do not own...this would have been a stock pick if I decided to continue building stock portfolio. Last stock purchase was BAM. Strictly mutual funds from this point forward. Stock portfolio will represent less than 10% of portfolio.

This may be a bad pick, because it depends on the American public being SMART for a change, and doing the right thing, IE. The Pickens Plan to harvest wind energy for electricity production, and move cars to Natural gas.

I have my fingers crossed.
