The buisiness isn't growing and will be out of business once electric cars and online retailers take over. Underperform.

Trading at about 14x this year's free cash flow and paying a high-yield dividend of about 3.3%, I'd wager that downside for Advance is limited.
Generating tons of FCF, it's opening stores to catch up to Autozone and O'Reilly, repurchasing shares, and paying the dividend.
Autozone and O'Reilly are crushing the market over the past decade after repurchasing more than 40% of shares. Advance is performing with the market but only recently got serious about buybacks like its peers. I expect market-beating returns now that it's getting more aggressive.
I believe the argument that this is a dying industry because of EVs is overly simplistic and overoptimistic with how fast EVs will displace gas-powered cars. Still a decade before Advance needs to reevaluate, in my opinion.

AAP will outperfom as the US slides into recession, housing prices go underwater, and the average working American no longer has oodles of "fake money" at their disposal, creating the illusion of wealth. People will resort to Fix Or Repair Daily for several years. This same trend happens every time we enter recession. It happened in 2008. Any company that can help a family maintain a decent standard of living, but save $1,000 per year will shine until we leave the recession behind.
