CBRX will get FDA approval for its PROCHIEVE® Vaginal Progesterone Gel by the end of February. Watson must pay CBRX a $5,000,000 milestone payment and will sell the drug.
Prochieve will allow women with short cervix's a 90% chance of bringing their pregnancy to term. As opposed to overwhelming amount of pre-mature births for women with cervical lengths of 2.5cm and smaller.
Also, I believe that Prochieve will be used on all woman regardless of the cervical length given the litigious problems for Dr's in the maternity field.
I see a target price of around $5-$7 around Feb. 2012.
Worst case scenario, CBRX gets bought by Watson.
Recs
By Feb 2012 the FDA should approve the progesterone gel that will prevent premature births for women with small cervix's. I believe that it will become a standard practice to use on all pregnant women. Dr.'s do not want to get sued, and insurance companies will pay.
