It operates throughout Brazil and in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The company has a complex structure involving many subsidiaries and joint ventures.
Cyrela currently trades for 10.9x trailing earnings and 2.3x tangible book, with a reasonably healthy balance sheet. They are an incredible growth story, growing at over 40% per year. The worldwide recession and crisis of 2008-2009 does not appear to have hurt Brazil that much.
