Low oil prices in 2016 will do no favors for upstream companies. Can this company stay solvent longer than the global oil market can stay irrational? My guess is no.

One of seven oil industry stocks added to this CAPS portfolio to reflect the partial recovery of crude oil pricing in 2017. While basically assuming that a rising tide lifts all boats, if crude pricing holds at current level, perhaps Denbury can see earnings of about $1.00 a share.
