shareholder yield is one he most predictable ways to outperform the market... this one is only foreign companies which gives you good diversification from the us market. This should outperform the index handily over time with lower volatility. The companies are all leaders in dividends, buybacks, debt reduction and are showing positive momentum in their stock price, the companies are rebalanced on occasion also.... this could be the holy grail of investments.... at least on the foreign side SYLD is the US based shareholder yield vehicle that was created from Mebane Faber... his long term studies show that over time it would have outperformed the S&P by over 5 %... it seems like a little, but over time the effects of compounding are huge.. buy and hold forever
