Consistent revenue growth with good dividend to boot. Will take advantage of macro trend of gentrification of urban centers. Focus on E-commerce will help drive growth as well.

It trades at 20-25x earnings (4-5% yield), and has shown it's fabulous at growing earnings. It's done well with homeowners, small contractors, and supplying larger contractors. It's definitely the leader, with a lot of efficiency that makes it hard to disrupt.
I worry that it could do badly if interest rates rise, making home buying and improvement loans expensive. But this is still a much better value than others in the market, who will also suffer if rates rise. I should have bought it 10 years ago and five years ago, but why wait longer.

HD provides a necessary service that really has only two lesser competitors. It is well run and forward thinking. It cares about its employees. AND in my view, long term trends, climate change/extreme weather/etc, are going to increase the demand for maintenance and repairs.
