Not a lot of info, but large insider purchases in a recession indicates they have big things going on. Fundamentals are decent.

Shorting these thinly traded one SOB's (star over-the-counter bulletin board) are usually good CAPS points, but hard to make money in real life...and extremely risky! Make sure you have enough to cover a margin call if you do!

Coal was great during the industrial revolution.

It stopped making sense to burn coal to generate electricity from a technical perspective when large frame combustion turbines became commonly installed ahead of heat recovery steam generators.

It stopped making economic sense to burn coal to generate electricity when fracking became common place.

It stopped making environmental sense to burn coal, well, I guess maybe in the 1960's. This one is harder. You can get away with hugely toxic emissions until there are lots of people around. If the mercury, arsenic and other heavy metals don't get you then the SOx and NOx emissions will. Scrubbers and SCRs help, but you have to burn more coal to make up the losses. Then there's always the carbon emissions.

There is a reason no one is building new coal plants. There is also a reasonable market for demolishing old ones. Eventually there won't be much of a market for solid fuels.
