Target $33 by Jan 2015. Q2-4 will be very promising from IRE. Irish government data looks very upbeat coming out of Q2. Accumulate shares of this company.
Take the performance of NBG, not to mention American banks that took TARP funds: they have declined slowly but surely since the peak of disaster and then clearly will survive, but the price will drift downward overtime. It has a slightly better… More

Recs
Bank of Ireland (IRE) turned its first profit since the crisis in the last interim (roughly 399 Euros depending on the source). Impairments fell 1.8 billion since then, with another 10 billion to go. Therein lies the profit. If they duplicate in the 2nd half what they did in the first, I can see a potential dividend in March/April of .01 euro (.0125 U.S.) per ordinary share. With 32.34 billion ordinary shares outstanding, and 798 Euros in earnings at year's end, would accrue an earnings per share of 0.0246 euros or 0.03075 U.S. That amounts to earnings of $1.23 per ADR, and I've read ADR's tend to run about 20 times earnings per share, that would result in a market price of about $24.60 per ADR, times the ten percent the US price tends to run above the price in Europe, and you're looking at a price of about $27 per ADR by March or June, 2015. I look for their earnings to steadily increase as impairments drop, resulting in at least doubling the market price of their ADR, each of the next 5+ years.
