simple reasoning: This is a magic formula stock with a magic formula EBIT / Enterprise Value of ~18% and a Pre-Tax Return on Tangible Capital of ~150%. The company has no debt, and lots of cash on the balance sheet.
I'm aware of the company's recent troubles, but the stock is done to ~$10 from a high around ~$27 earlier this year, which in my view is an overreaction by the market.
I also note a very healthy insider ownership of >17% of the float, meaning management's interests are very well aligned with common share holders.
No catalyst prediction here -- this is more of a reversion to the mean argument. The idea is to buy a high quality company when it is temporarily out of favor.
