Must agree with kristm, "boring, slow growth, meat and potatoes". Solid company: I'm sure it will roll with the punches. We need them, they need us.

I've read someone say this is a boring stock. I don't understand this.
The company is the leader in the industry. The founder has a long history of solid management.
It has a fortress of a balance sheet with no debt. Its current assets are 4.5 times total liabilities. Its net net ratio compared to price is 0.28, the highest of my current watch list. The price/book stands at about 1.3.
Revenues, earnings, and dividends have been growing steadily. The dividend payout is at about 3.25% at a healthy payout ratio below 40%.
I bought in with real money at $17 and have not been sorry. I just made a limit order at $19.80. According to Fool stats, the short interest ratio is at 9.40. I'm not sure why it's that high but I'll take my chances. The downside risk is low, but if it does go lower, well, I'll just make my third purchase on sale again.

I am oriented more to growth, but this looks more like a good value play for the next 2-3 years. It may not have bottomed out, but I think the risk to the down side is limited now.
-- It has no debt and the current ratio is above 2.
-- The yield is well above 3% and the payout ratio is respectable, below 50%.
-- The CEO is shrewd, and his son is heir apparent.
-- The company dominates their sector.
-- The price is nearly 30% off its high.
