Recs
With some gold stocking taking a hit, this one seems to be gaining or at least closing even. This may be one to watch over the next several weeks as gold continues to fluctuate, mainly up.
Recs
1. Don't be scared by the pink sheet. This is listed on the TSE as MVG (TSE:MVG on google finance, MVG.TO on yahoo finance).
So while MTLVF.PK may be relatively illiquid, there's enough volume to buy and sell a few thousand shares a day on the TSE.
2. It has an EPS of 3 cents a share. That means it's making money. Positive return on equity & assets. So It's not a loser-dog. P/E is 55 but look at the proven resources, this is coming out of survival mode, now that the gold price is so high they should be worth a lot more. Their price has been flat for the last 4-5 years. Why hasn't it risen with the price of gold? Whoa, value play! value play!! Well, why? The answer is below:
3. All other due diligence aside, (and you SHOULD do more research on this one,) This stock is INVISIBLE. i.e. NO ONE IS LOOKING AT IT. How do I know this? Let me explain.
1000 x price x volume / market cap:
HL hecla mining, 1000 x 11.78 x 4M / 1.45B, or 32.5.
SLW Volume/Market Cap: 1000x16.11x4.6M / 3.55B =20.8
CDE Volume/Market Cap: 1000x3.6x 8M / 2.2B= 13.1
SST Volume/Market Cap: 1000 x 2.5 x 0.210M / 0.33B =1.6
mvg.to (mtlvf.pk): 1000 x 1.77 x 15.5k / 92M = 0.29
So the "Interest indicator" for mvg.to is 0.29. Pathetic. Even less than Silverstone!! This is sooo under the radar. People just don't KNOW about it yet. Thats the magic about this one. It's such an amazing dirty dog value play but it has solid fundamentals and huge proven resources yet there is no interest! the smart money will be pouring into this one soon, my opinion feels so right!
4. I mean come on. 6 million ounces of proven reserves with a market cap of 92 million? What the hell? And we're looking at a pullback from a recent high of 2.50? seriously, what the heck is going on here?
At a $900 gold price, even if it costs them $800 an ounce to mine the gold, thats 600 million dollars (not $92M), anyone can see that. Thats 6-7 times higher. The industry average is like what, 400 an ounce? So lets say, that means they should be worth ... 3 billion? I mean come on, even factoring in an incompetent management and stupidity and problems causing a 66% loss of value, without dillution of shares a 1 billion market cap implies a share price of what, 190 bucks... dude.. i am so buying this when the market opens. Thanks, AeroFool, thanks TMFSmashy, and thanks for the daily pick for *enlightening* me to this stock which I never would have found in time otherwise. Fool on!

Hurray for Gold!!! Hurray for Silver!!! Hurray for Oil!!! Hurray for Base Metals!!! Down with $US!!! Down with US Banks!!! Up with US stock market nominal basis!!! Down with US stock market real basis!!! Down with US Houses!!! Down with Citigroup!!! Down with US Economy!!! and DOWN WITH INFIDELS!!!!!!!!
Whoever shorts metals company because of no revenue is stupid!!! Why trade good metals for bad $US just to report revenue!!! A company can have no revenue, just sleep, but if the price of their metals go up, market cap go up! All metals miners should stop producing, have no worthless $US revenues, and wait until supply goes down until Gold hits $5000 then to sell their metals!!!
