Consistent dividend growth, better than market average price to earnings ratio, and currently trading at less than 2 times book value.

There is some uncertainty in the industry with recent DOL regulations being passed. However, in the wake of upheaval comes opportunity. I look for Principal to seize some of the market share that MetLife (among others) will undoubtedly be losing. The recent rebranding should help the company's image as well.
