Reading is currently trading for slightly less than its stated book value of $4.85/share. This book value is understated though and will likely be revised upwards by over $1.00/share once RDI sells its Australian land assets.

Follow chk on this one. Flat to mild revenue growth, too much debt for my liking, and even if you took the profit from their very best year, it's still selling at 50x earnings (and it's not exactly growing to justify the price).

Unlocking value from real estate holdings while also running cinema theatres. 75k insider purchase in Jan. 50% upside by some accounts if real estate keeps coming back. We'll managed properties that were bought right. Shares are overcoming a control discount due to 2 classes of shares.

Yes I agree cinema is maxing out in the US but not the world and what is a certainty is that any business based on capitalising on engagement of our imagination will never go out of style...ergo Disney etc. On top of which RDI uses this imagination to diversify :)
