Senior Housing Properties Trust is a real estate investment trust (REIT). The Company operates through four segments. The first segment includes triple net senior living communities that provide short term and long term residential care and dining services for residents.
The second segment includes managed senior living communities that provide residential care and dining services for residents.
The third segment includes properties where medical related activities occur but where residential overnight stays and dining services are not provided.
The fourth segment includes the operating results of certain properties that offer fitness, wellness and spa services.

Baby boomers will need this service in the near future with demand increasing with time.
Plus - REIT's have great dividend yields.
